Oh and I had some problems when I selected the option of chaging the screen sideways or frontways when you tilt your phone when u want to use it horizontally, it seems to take a bit to recognize the direction the screen should go! Anywats, any other than that its a pretty good phone! For me it was a no brainer because I did not want to pay for AT&T's data plan, but I wanted internet for e-mail and social networking. The WiFi works well though occasionally it will fail to auto connect. I love that it runs Android especially since I use many Google products including Google Mail, Google Calender, and Google Documents... I am also very impressed with how tough this phone is. I drop it all the time and have yet to have anything break on it. When I say drop, I mean a 4 foot drop onto concrete. I did not choose to get any kind of case, or screen protector yet everything is still functioning after a years worth of rugged use. Granted, I have small scratches all over the screen but it doesn't affect the function. Of course, there are hundreds of android apps you can take advantage of including Pandora's app, Google Maps, and Angry Birds.Recommendations Some games (Word with Friends)... Other times it takes a few taps for the apps to open. Unit really consumes a lot of battery power, especially when on wifi. Added a task manager which helped. Controls, functions real buggy, go on and off independent of user. Save your money, get a newer unit with latest firmware and much bigger screen. |
