She has never been one for technology but needs a cell phone. We've gone through a few different models and all of them have buttons that are too small or lots of features and menu choices that she gets lost and confused. The Clarity Cell Phone is extremely basic and not for my taste- but it is just perfect for my mom. It is very straight forward and has just the necessary functions- along with a emergency button which makes me feel more at ease as she often does errands by herself. The buttons are huge for a cell phone and it is quite loud, I was able to hold the phone 2 feet out in front of me and could hear the conversation just fine (no it does not have a speaker phone). While it's a bit pricey- I didn't have to change her service like I would have if I got the Jitterbug. All I had to do was charge the phone and then take her sim card out of her existing phone and placed it in this Clarity phone and it worked right away! I... The company also included a car charger for 'free'... ok, the review. starting with what's good: - big keys - just 4 simple keys on the front when it's closed - turn on quickly what's bad: - earpiece is NOT loud. (60dB) - navigation is clumsy and difficult - worst built quality i've ever seem in a product that cost more than $5. - plenty more bad things, let's talk more about them: - Sound quality THIS PHONE IS NOT LOUD!!!
